Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated 2026-10-24

1. Statutory right of withdrawal

EU consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal. It runs from the conclusion of the contract at signup / trial start (art. 104 TRLGDCU; art. 9(2)(a) Directive 2011/83/EU). The 14-day card-upfront trial is the cooling-off window: cancel before it ends and you are not charged. The right applies once per contract; a subscription renewal creates no new right of withdrawal (CJEU C-565/22) — for renewals the remedy is cancel-anytime.

2. If service has started during the cooling-off period

Because access begins immediately at your express request (captured at checkout on a durable medium), a valid withdrawal after access has begun entitles us to deduct a pro-rata amount for the access you have already enjoyed (art. 14(3) Directive 2011/83/EU; art. 108.4 TRLGDCU). If we did not capture that express request and acknowledgement, you may owe nothing (art. 14(4)).

3. Goodwill commercial refund

In addition to your statutory rights, we voluntarily refund your first post-trial charge within 14 days of that charge. If you upgrade from Pro to Premium, we also refund the prorated upgrade charge if you ask within 14 days of it. This is an explicit goodwill policy offered above the statutory minimum — it is not a statutory entitlement.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel anytime from the Stripe Customer Portal; access continues until the end of the paid period, with no partial-period refunds beyond the rights above. If a renewal payment fails, access continues during the grace period before the subscription lapses. Chargebacks may lead to suspension. To withdraw, use the model withdrawal form, email [email protected], or cancel in the Portal. See our Terms of Service. Plan changes follow section 4 of our Terms of Service.
