SPX 0DTE · RULE-BASED INCOME STRATEGIES · BACKTESTED

Algorithmic 0DTE strategies. Every entry, already backtested. If it can't be written as a rule, it isn't traded here.

2manyoptions is a backtesting lab for mechanical SPX 0DTE strategies — MEIC and Iron Fly today, more in the pipeline. Our own engine analyzed every session since 2023 against 100 ms option chains, so you pick your configuration from measured history instead of gut feel.

The next strategy ships when the rules — and the numbers — hold up.
§ THE STRATEGIESPLAIN ENGLISH, NO JARGON

Never traded MEIC nor IF? Quick intro.

Both strategies sell SPX spreads that expire the same day (0DTE) — and both can be fully mechanical: entries, exits and sizing are rules decided before the open, not judgment calls made during the session.

MEIC Multiple Entry Iron Condor
LIVE
← SPX LOWERP&L AT EXPIRYSPX HIGHER →

An iron condor sells a call spread above the market and a put spread below it — you collect a premium and keep it if SPX expires between your short strikes. A Multiple Entry Iron Condor repeats that at several fixed times through the session, each entry with its own width, stop and target. More entries, smaller size each — so the day depends less on any single minute.

An Iron Fly sells a call and a put at the money — maximum premium, strictest range — and buys wings further out to cap the risk. We calculate exits and targets as fixed dollar stops, decided before entry.

FIXED ENTRY$ STOP$ TARGET
No feelings in the loop

Fear skips good entries; greed moves working stops. A rule can't do either — entries fire at the clock, exits at the number.

Expectancy, not episodes

One 0DTE trade is noise. Hundreds of rule-identical trades are a statistic — mechanical strategies live or die at that level, and that's the level our backtests measure.

Built for automation

Every decision is a parameter, which is why traders run these strategies with bots. We don't execute or touch your broker — we're the evidence layer underneath.

§ THE ENGINEOURS, NOT RENTED

Built on a proprietary backtesting engine.

No vendor snapshots, no end-of-day approximations. The engine analyzes the real SPX option chain and marks every rule against it — the same engine behind every number on this site.

100 ms
QUOTE RESOLUTION

Fills and stops are evaluated on the intrasecond quote record — not minute bars, not interpolation.

§ FAQSTRAIGHT ANSWERS

Before you ask.

What exactly is a MEIC?

Multiple Entry Iron Condor. Instead of selling one iron condor and hoping, it sells several through the session at fixed times — each with a preset wing width, stop multiple and profit target. The multiple entries spread the day's risk across the clock. We backtest every combination of those rules against every session since 2023.

And an Iron Fly?

An iron butterfly: it sells a call and a put at the money — maximum premium, strictest range — and buys protective wings, sized dynamically by VIX. Exits are fixed dollar stops and targets set before entry. Same discipline as MEIC, different shape.

Do I need to be an options expert?

You need the basics — what a spread is, why defined risk matters, and the real risks of 0DTE trading. You don't need a market opinion: these strategies don't predict direction. The platform's job is to show how each rule set actually held up, session by session, since 2023.

Is this a signals service?

No. 2manyoptions is research tooling — business intelligence for the decision before the trade. We show the measured history of every configuration; you make the call. No alerts, no tips, no advice, no execution.

Are these strategies meant for bots?

They're automation-friendly by construction — entries, exits, widths and stops are parameters, not judgment calls — and many traders do automate them. 2manyoptions doesn't execute trades or connect to brokers, and never will. We're the evidence layer; execution is yours.

Do you promise returns?

No. Research and education only — not financial advice. Backtests are history, not prophecy; options trading involves substantial risk, including the loss of capital.
